Netty 4.0.6.Final released

Wheels are still moving fast and so here is the next bug-fix release out of the 4.x tree. This release includes bug-fixes and performance improvements.

In summary we closed 25 issues.

This release would have been not possible without the feedback of our community. We welcome everyone to become a part of it, and help us to make Netty even better!

Important changes

  • ChannelOutboundBuffer OOM Bug . (#1681)
  • Call to flush squashed by reentrancy check . (#1679)
  • ByteToMessageDecoder can pass a released buffer to PortUnificationServerHandler (#1664)
  • MessageToMessageEncoder.write() cause ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1 exception if encode() cause any exception . (#1656)
